PvP · The Darkspear Circuit
The Darkspear Circuit.
Rise's premade league and open duel ladder on Darkspear Islands. Season 0 runs inside the guild right now; Circuit Season 1 opens its doors to other guilds after the November 4 launch.
Last verified: October 30, 2026
Season 0 is the shakedown. The Circuit's machinery — fixtures, scoreboard-screenshot reporting, officer confirmation, append-only corrections — runs inside Rise first, on the guild's War Week plumbing, so every rule gets stress-tested by friends before strangers depend on it. The full explainer is pinned in Discord's #pvp-chat.
Two seasons, two names — never shortened into each other. War Week Season 1 is the guild's own ranked run, November 11 to December 9, booked on the War Ledger. Circuit Season 1 is the cross-guild premade league this page describes. Different books, different champions.
Why a premade league works at all rests on one reported mechanic: premade groups are matched against premade groups, so a league night does not feed its teams to solo queues. Research-cited — Wowhead news, October 18, 2026. That is a research citation, not a fact in the guild's verified corpus, and the Circuit is built so it survives the report being wrong: if premade queues run thin, the duel ladder headlines and fixtures convert to 5v5 skirmish nights instead of piling up unplayed.
Enter Season 0 — in the guild, today
Registration runs on the War Week commands, usable in #signups, #pvp-chat and #bot-commands:
!warweek join [Character Name]
!ww submit <value> [note] — with the scoreboard screenshot attached to the same message
!ww standings · !ww me · !ww help
Entries a member files sit at the REPORTED tier until an officer verifies the evidence — standings count verified numbers, and your own line always shows which tier you are at.
Enter Circuit Season 1 — cross-guild, after launch
Entries open after the November 4 launch, once officers have re-verified the format in the live client. A visiting captain brings: team name, the captain's Discord tag, a home Discord or guild link, a roster of 15–20 named characters, and two or three weekly availability windows in UTC. Entries are reviewed in #pvp-chat; the first season caps at eight teams, and the first cross-guild fixtures target the week of November 10 — a target, not a promise.
Two ladders, house rules
The scoring below is the Circuit's own system — the guild's bookkeeping, not Blizzard's. It is printed here in full so nobody plays a fixture under rules they have not seen.
The Premade League
Round-robin fixtures on Darkspear Islands. A win is worth 3 league points; a loss you showed up for and reported is worth 1; a no-show or an unreported match is worth 0. Ties break on head-to-head first, then total wins, then fewest upheld disputes, then an officer ruling. A fixture counts only when it reaches CONFIRMED — one captain's report alone never moves the table.
The Duel Ladder
An open ladder for the nights between fixtures. Challenge anyone within 3 rungs of you; duels are best-of-3 at ordinary world locations both duelists agree on. Beat someone above you and you take their rung. Rungs earned in Season 0 carry into Circuit Season 1 — the ladder never resets behind your back.
The reporting rule
Both captains post the battleground scoreboard screenshot in #pvp-chat. An officer confirms the fixture from the two reports. Only then does it count. Corrections are published as new entries that supersede the old ones — the originals are never edited or erased, so the table's history can always be re-derived.
The ground it stands on
| Claim | Standing | Fact |
|---|---|---|
| Darkspear Islands is a launch battleground | Confirmed by Blizzard | wf-0149 |
| Format: 15v15, levels 30–60, four capture points, a central flag, first to 2,000 points | Confirmed by Blizzard — provisional until officers re-verify in the live client on Nov 4 | wf-0153 |
| Queues open at battlemasters in any capital and at the Barrens faction bases | Confirmed by Blizzard | wf-0154 |
| The classic battlegrounds (Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin, Alterac Valley) at launch | Community reports — not officially confirmed — NOT confirmed; the corpus shows both ways | wf-0150 |
| Darkspear's internal level brackets | Not yet published | wf-0152 |
Eligibility follows from the format: Darkspear's admitted range starts at level 30, so no Circuit copy anywhere promises a lower-level player a queue. League play is premade-pool only — the Circuit exists for organized teams, not as a way around the solo queue.
Standings feed: specced, not yet live
When Circuit Season 1 fixtures start confirming, this page renders its table from a published feed (working schema name rise.circuit/v1: season, teams, fixtures, duel ladder). The schema is proposed and forthcoming — it freezes when the first cross-guild fixtures are confirmed. Until then there are no cross-guild standings, so this page shows none. Inside the guild, the same discipline already runs live on the War Ledger.
No buy-in, no prizes for joining — the Circuit pays in standings and prestige only, and nothing about it automates play. It is bookkeeping for games people play themselves.
Season 0 is already running.
Guild members register with one command in #signups. Visiting captains: bring your roster after launch day — the door opens November 4.
