Rise is recruiting. Carefully.
A founding roster for a permanent world. We would rather launch with thirty people who show up than three hundred who drift — and the door works the way it worked in Wrath: a conversation, then a trial by playing together.

Who we want
PvP and PvE alike
Battlegrounds are a standing front, not the whole guild. If your Forever plan starts with “hit 30 and queue Darkspear,” you belong here — and so do you if it starts with a dungeon group or the December raid roster. The war effort feeds on all of it, on the PvP ruleset.
People who show up
The original guild's standard was a 90% attendance expectation on the nights you signed for. Rise keeps the spirit: sign up honestly, appear when you sign, and say so early when life intervenes. Reliability beats gear, every time.
New and returning alike
Forever is built for past, current and new players. If you raided Icecrown the first time, your experience is an asset. If this is your first MMO guild, your questions keep the database honest. Both belong here.
How joining works
Join the Discord
One click, no form, no gate. Applications happen after you're in, not before — a web form in front of the invite would cost us exactly the people we want.
Introduce yourself
Name (character, once you have one), class plans, and what block you're here for — PvP, dungeons, raids, professions, or the hall. Officers read every introduction.
Play with us
The trial is the original guild's trial, minus the Ventrilo interview: group up, queue up, show up. Fits are obvious within a week, in both directions, and nobody wastes anybody's launch.
One game rule to know before you create anything: on the PvP ruleset you may create one faction only per account (fact wf-0073) — Rise is Horde, so plan your characters accordingly.
The War Council
The War Council roster is forming
Officer cards publish here when at least three officers have opted in — name, portrait and bio are opt-in only, supplied by the officer, and never scraped from Discord or invented by the site. Until then, the officers are exactly where the guild is: in the Discord, in #officer-chat and on the floor at events.
Step 1 is the button.
Join the Discord, introduce yourself in #introductions, and tell us what you're rolling. Launch is November 4 — the founding roster closes around the people who were here before it.
